Fernanda´s success in achieving organization goals revolves around fostering deep and authentic personal relationships.
She began working as an operator while in school in Switzerland and kept a job all during her college years at Notre Dame, growing from cashier to store manager to a pop-up apparel store during football season. After graduation, Fernanda moved back to Ecuador, becoming part of the management team of a locally owned hotel transitioning to one managed by one of the finest hospitality chains in the world. Fernanda headed all the Training and Development activities for that property and two other hotels in Ecuador.
Stepping into her entrepreneurial spirit, she bought a franchise for a local apparel clothing store, moving it from the fifth position in sales to the second in only one year. Fernanda’s next position was with the Ecuadorian American Chamber of Commerce where her skills eventually earned her the role of Chief Operations Officer, overseeing and updating all their financial, IT and HR procedures. She then became the Executive Assistant to the CEO of the Association of Latino Professional for America (ALPFA) and served as the organization’s HR Director. Always looking to grow, she volunteered to help manage three national conferences in Las Vegas with over 3,000 attendees including over 75 Fortune 500 clients. Fernanda was also instrumental in managing two “Most Powerful Latinas in Corporate America” conferences cohosted with Fortune magazine in New York City at Columbia University.
After the CEO of ALPFA transitioned, she decided to go back to her passion — Human Resources — starting as Junior Outplacement Consultant. She was quickly promoted to National Career Transition Manager helping employees find a purpose and structure when faced with leaving a company.
Joined R360 Global as Human Resources Director in October 2020 and has built the HR system for a fully remote company taking advantage of tech tools as well as promoting personal touch on every step.
Fernanda graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management and International Business. She lives in Quito, Ecuador with her husband, her two daughters and serves her community through private non-profits and school initiatives.
